Our Story

It is often said that opposites attract, and in our case, that couldn't be more accurate. Our story is a beautiful collision of two different worlds: Dharsh, the bubbly extrovert, and Devesh, the quirky introvert.

Our very first interaction perfectly set the stage for what was to come. At a social gathering, Devesh was doing what he does best—happily hiding in a corner, entirely engrossed in his phone. Dharsh, armed with a little bit of liquid courage, decided to break the ice. From that very first conversation, we realized that our differences weren't just complementary—they were the secret ingredient that made us work.

How It All Began

If you see us walking down the street, the first thing you’ll notice is the undeniable height difference. Devesh towers over Dharsh, providing the perfect reach for high shelves, while Dharsh ensures he stays grounded (literally). Our weekends are a revolving door of our favourite things.

You’ll often find us negotiating our time between Devesh, who’s either watching a cricket match or deep diving into the latest tech gadgets, and Dharsh, who’s busy trawling TikTok for the season’s best fashion or dreaming about her next big travel adventure

The Perfect Balance

A black and white photo of a couple embracing outdoors, with the woman smiling and resting her head on the man's shoulder, and the man looking at the camera with a serious expression.

If there is one thing that truly speaks our shared language, it is a great meal—even if our taste buds are living in different hemispheres. While we are both unapologetic foodies, we approach a menu with very different levels of bravery. Dharsh is a firm believer that if your eyes aren't watering, it’s not seasoned properly, while Devesh treats black pepper like a daredevil stunt.

Our culinary compatibility was actually put to the test early on at Nandos. Dharsh famously declared that she could never date anyone who ordered the ‘Lemon & Herb’, only to realize that was Devesh’s absolute peak spice tolerance. Meanwhile, she was sitting across from him comfortably tackling the ‘Extra Hot’. Somehow, we’ve managed to bridge the gap between "zesty" and "nuclear," proving that love is stronger than the Scoville scale.
